In Memory of BELLA
In Memory of BELLA
When my daughter, Michelle, got us Bella, North Shore Animal Leage said she was an Australian Cattle Dog. But they may not have been entirely correct because we see some Beagal in her. Bella was a very happy and playful dog. She was born around JUNE 2011 and we had to have her put to sleep on DECEMBER 28, 2023. She developed a lump on her side...East Islip Animal Hospital said it was a "Mast Cell Tumor." She started to get very bloated. On December 28, 2023, I took her to the Sayville Animal Hospital (on recommendation of a friend) because I was not happy with the services at East Islip Animal Hospital. X-Rays were taken by Dr. Sarah Guasp, who was the doctor in Sayville recommended to me. The x-rays showed an entire white colord area where the internal organs should have been visible. This white area, according to Dr. Guasp, was cancer. According to her, there was nothing that could be done for Bella.
I called my wife and Michelle (my daughter who got us Bella). They came to the animal hospital (my daughter left work). My daughter brought her husband, Mike, and my 7 year old grandson (he wanted to be there). Bella was put to rest on December 28, 2023.
BELLA WILL BE VERY MUCH MISSED AND LOVED!
